More techno utopia

The article by Wired editor-in-chief Chris Anderson on the "free economy" is breathless vision of the future. Prophets always overshoot in their enthusiasm, but it is always fun to take a peek through their rose-tinted spectacles. There is an element of truth in what Anderson says, but that part is the part that is already here. I'm not sure this is a reliable road map into the distant future.
