There's some pretty harsh criticism of Geithner by this PBS News Hour panel composed of Paul Krugman, Ken Rogoff, Alice Rivlin, and Donald Marron. They had the task on Feb 10 of assessing the Geithner plan:

It is pretty obvious that only Krugman and Rogoff were speaking intelligently and clearly. The other two are too "political" for my taste.
