Krugman on Corruption

Here is a remarkable statement by Paul Krugman:
Despite everything that’s happened, I don’t think many people grasp just how raw, how explicit, the corruption of our institutions has become.
You need to go read his posting about "opinions for sale", i.e. an example of how a high profile right wing think tank which went from being negative on Malayasia to being a big supporter at the same time as they began accepting money from Malaysia. In short, "ideas for hire". Krugman is worried about the level of corruption rampant in American society.
